Key Responsibilities
•Teaching and research in Counselling Psychology and related areas (four courses per semester
•Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Counselling Psychology and related disciplines
•Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
•Participating in academic seminars, workshops, conferences and departmental activities
•Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
•Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management
Qualifications and skills
•An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
•Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills
•at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
•Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
•A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
•Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools
