Kenya Urban Roads Authority recognizes the role road safety plays in facilitating urban mobility. The Authority has therefore established six Traffic Safety Parks nationally, located in Nairobi, Embu, Kakamega, Nyeri, Kisii, and Kisumu. The Parks are equipped with facilities including marked lanes, videos, animations, and graphics for teaching road safety measures to those who visit the parks.
Frequent clients to the parks include school-going children, university students, and organized groups which visit the parks to learn about road safety skills.
